Spintown News:
Not much out there on the intertubes today. I did find a few worth while videos though. 2 of the features were things I saw on POPTUB, so props to POPTUB today. Brent Black AKA brentalfloss sent me a message yesterday. Apparently he's been making good progess in the song he's currently writing for me. Can't wait for him to finish because I've been wanting this video done for a long time. The only bad thing will be paying an animator to animate the music video. Cash isn't running low around here, it's relocated altogether recently.
Swine Flu: The Musical
Jonathan Mann feels the way I do about this topic.
Wild Eagle
I really liked this Andrew White song, so give it a listen.
NCC Video
There was a time in middleschool in which I had given up cursing....even when my parents weren't around.
Human-Robot Jazz Improvisation
Not bad, but after reading the title I expected more.

Kelly: The Prequel
This is probably my least favorite of the Kelly music videos, but it still has it's moments.
CH Live: NYC - Jake and Amir 3
I love it when Amir tries to rap in the Jake & Amir videos.
Adobe-Records
I thought this little music video was cool.
I Quit Being Miserable

Shoes In Asian Homes
Spintown News:
I started an account at LiveLeak, but I don't know if I like this site. I'll try it out for awhile, but let me know if you have any other suggestions.
Shoes In Asian Homes
YouTuber 'ice1cube' made a funny music video parody of the Kiss Me Through The Phone song.
Hey Lucy
This song is so bad I felt sad for the kid who made it for a couple seconds....then I laugh out loud for awhile.
Closer
Here's another music video done by a bunch of Asians. This one isn't funny, but is actually a well done music video cover.
Tell Me Lies
Those crazy inmates are dancing again. Aside from the shower rapings, I bet that place is a blast.
Aubrey
I had to feature this for personal reasons. At my old daycare job there was a girl named Aubrey who worked in the kitchen. My co-workers & I would play this song every time we saw her coming down the long hall to our work area. Eventually we taught the kids we watched to sing this song, and they sang it for her. I believe we included this song in the musical we put on that summer as well, but I'm not to sure. Good times...definately better then the daycare job I've currently got.
Robot Wedding Singer
If I ever get married, I want a wedding singer that can do the robot.
Dance
I laughed at this video by Ben Brix. Really simple, but made me smile.

Chanda Mama
Spintown News:
Putfile seems to have disappeared for good. It's been about a month, and I still don't know what happened to the site. I did have a lot of videos uploaded there, so I thought I'd look around for a couple new hosting options. I decided to start a DailyMotion & Viddler account. If anyone has any other suggestions let me know. I uploaded PFL21 on each of those accounts, but I probably won't do anything else with them until I make a new video.
Chanda Mama
These 'Playing For Change' vidoes are always great.
Falling For You
I really liked this original song from YouTuber 'chestersee'.
Steve, The Hippo With Multiple Personalities
Jonathan Mann made a cute & funny video today. It's one of my favorites that he has done.
The Bunda
This is one of the top 10 "Booty" music videos of all time.
Dance
This beautiful video is by Avi Cohen. It's very relaxing...yet stimulating...
Hold On
This isn't my favorite David Choi original, but it's still good.
Government Corruption
rehdogg told me he will be turning Republican before the next election. I tried to convice him to just be independent, but he thinks independents are all spineless. My back hurts every morning, so I'm pretty sure not ALL independents are spineless.

Welcome To Spintown
Spintown News:
I got online today just to check my e-mail & messages. In the process I saw that Jonathan Mann uploaded the Spintown song I requested. So even though I'm still pretty sick, I sat up until I had a full blog post for today. I might miss another day or 2 due to illness & the fact that it's finals week coming up. But I'll be back to my usual routine shortly.
The songs for the final round of Song Fu 3 are now in. Both songs were great, and I may not be able to pick a favorite this time. Links are in the BOTR section.
PS: You may notice I threw one of the new headers up the other day. I'm featuring videos from 2 of the people in the header today.
Welcome To Spintown
This song should play every time someone visits this blog. Jonathan Mann is simply awesome. Go check out more of his stuff, then donate a little cash if you can.
I Kill People
Jon Lajoie takes awkward white rap to a whole new level.
DFTBA
Hank Green lost to Molly Lewis in Song Fu 3, so he's now moving his music career in a new direction....rap.
UsLaGirl
Who is you're favorite YouTube pole dancer? I don't know if can pick between 'UsLaGirl' & 'aletheaaustin'.
aletheaaustin
You see why it's so hard to pick?
Amazing Beatbox Kid
I don't post beatbox videos unless they're pretty amazing, so you might want to watch this guy.
Carlye's Song
Here's an original from Tommy Knox. Hopefully we'll have some Spintown music created by Tommy in the near future.
Best Of The Rest:
Here's a quick reminder of what the Final Challenge was for Song Fu 3:
"I call this one FRANKENSONG. For this fourth and final challenge, you must craft a composition that contains AT LEAST THREE (3) distinctly different songs within your final song, but which fit together into a cohesive whole. By distinct, I mean both tempo and style. Your song must run no shorter than 1 minute 45 seconds."

Bohemian Rhapsody (nerd remix)
Spintown News:
Not much going on in music & dance on the inter-superhigh-tubes today. Maybe the web-net of information will be kinder to us on Thursday. Small blog is better then no blog...right?
Bohemian Rhapsody
Old school computer remix of a Queen classic. Please note that no effects or sampling was used. What you see is what you hear. Here's a list of items used in the video:
Atari 800XL was used for the lead piano/organ sound.
Texas Instruments TI-99/4a as lead guitar.
8 Inch Floppy Disk as Bass.
3.5 inch Harddrive as the gong.
HP ScanJet 3C was used for all vocals. Recorded the HP scanner 4 seperate times for each voice.
303 Gabba
YouTuber 'beardyman' is amazing.
Mr. Blue Sky
Lauren Fairweather does a good job doing this E.L.O. cover. I actually included Lauren in one of the new headers I had made. I might use it for next week.
Best Of The Rest:
I can not haz extraz. :(

Banjo Kazooie WITH LYRICS
It's easy to pick the #1 feature whenever brentalfloss puts out a new 'With Lyrics' video.
The Mushroom Singdom: Life Force
I haven't been a Jonathan Mann fan for very long. So I missed this incredible video when it was first released. I still own & play Life Force once in awhile, it's one of my all time favorite games.
Take A Shower
Peter Coffin uploaded a Fall Out Boy parody yesterday.
Hey Molly
As any regular Spintown visitor knows, I've followed Mike Lombardo in Song Fu. I didn't know about his YouTube channel though, so expect to see more of him here at Spintown now that I'm a subscriber.

Thank You Mario! But Our Princess Is In Another Castle!
Didn't you hate finding Toad in those castles? I sure did.
Come On Back
I'm sure you've seen bad music videos before, but this has to be right up there as one of the worst ever.
Jennifer Love Song
This is a song about Jennifer Love Hewitt, by Kevin K & the Hollywood Stars. Kevin K stopped by the JLH forum at Fanhost (which I frequent), and posted a link to this yesterday. Good work Kevin.
Nordman - Du behöver... Buffalaxed!
There sure have been a lot of new Buffalaxed videos lately...not that I'm complaining.

We Didn't Start The Flame War
Spintown News:
If the people who said they were interested in collabing with this blog actually follow through, it looks like I'm definately going to make multiple videos within a short span of each other. I'm excited about what these people can create, but at the same time dreading all the editing...
With the amount of videos I keep coming across, I might have to make 7 features the norm.
PS: Happy birthday to Spintown All-Star Brent Black AKA brentalfloss.
We Didn't Start The Flame War
I thought this sounded familiar, I read this song daily.
Dance Train Station Belgium
It would probably be a little odd to be at a train station and suddenly have Julie Andrews blasted over the loud speakers singing a classic from the Sound Of Music. It would be even stranger, yet incredibly awesome, to have everyone around you break out into a choreographed dance routine.
I Like... Rap
YouTuber 'thecomputernerd01' doesn't have many of the skills needed to be a good rapper...yet I find him entertaining.
Rockin' All Over The World
Two Blokes, Two Ukes do a mean ukulele cover, and that's why I'm really looking forward to seeing what they come up with when they attempt a song for Spintown.
Zelda Theme On 2 Tesla Coils
This was posted by Trammell, and as he did so thousands of nerds climaxed.
Without Yugi
I was never a Yugi fan...it was after my time. I was into Voltron, Scooby Doo, Smurfs, etc...

Act Two
Spintown News:
Got some good news for yall today. YouTubers 'browian01' & 'tommyknox99' could be lending their talents to an upcoming Spintown video! 'browian01' is made up of The Stevo Corrigan & Ian Brown, and also go by Two Blokes, Two Ukes. I've posted a number of their videos here in the past, and can't wait to see what these 2 can come up with. 'tommyknox99' isn't a stranger to Spintown either. He's actually a Spintown All-Star, so you can imagine how hyped I am about getting him to work on a video with me. Since I've had a positive response from a few YouTubers lately, it's very possible that I will release 2 'Pain For Laughs' videos within a very short period of each other.
One more bit of info before I get to the videos. Another Spintown All-Star left me a message the other day. YouTuber 'kyaaakya' left a comment on my YouTube page: "thanks for such awesome compliments and comments on your blog :)" I should be thanking her for giving me post-worthy material for the blog. It was nice of her to leave that comment though, and good to know some of the people I feature here have actually stumbled upon Spintown.
Oh, and another big post today...what can I say...I gotz mad blog skillz.
Act Two
You got Act One yesterday, so here's Act Two of the YouTube Symphony Orchestra @ Carnegie Hall.
YouTrax.tv Show 15
In this episode YouTrax features Dondria, also known as 'Phatfffat' on YouTube. More importantly YouTrax features Nick Pitera, also known as 'goonieman86' on YouTube. I've posted a number of Nick's videos here at Spintown.
The Happy Spacemen
rathergoodstuff is usually rather good, so watch this odd music video.
Childrens BOP!
nigahiga makes a funny parody about a product that I think most adults find annoying.
It All Makes Sense At The End
I posted the MP3 of this song in the BOTR section before. Somehow I missed the actual video Molly Lewis made of her Song Fu Round 3 entry.
Target Dance Party
I'll be honest, I couldn't watch all of this 'Supermac18' video. It's been big on YouTube recently, and he's a big name on YouTube, so I thought I'd post it.
I'm On A Boat
A bunch of well known YouTubers decided to get together and cover a Lonely Island track. You'll see 'MysteryGuitarMan', 'Supricky06', 'CoreyVidal', 'Ponceman' & 'TheSAP'.

Act One
Spintown News:
Man I'm still finding a lot of videos, so you're getting a few extras again. Got a couple other YouTubers willing to provide music for my next 'Pain For Laughs' video. I'll keep tight lipped on who, for awhile. I don't plan on working on the next video for a month or 2 yet.
Act One
Well it didn't take long to get a video of the YouTube Symphony Orchestra @ Carnegie Hall. The world's first collaborative online orchestra performed at Carnegie Hall on April 15, 2009. Selected by the YouTube community and several members of the world's most renowned orchestras, the YouTube Symphony Orchestra is made up of over 96 professional and amateur musicians from 30+ countries and territories on six continents and represents 26 different instruments.
You're A Plumber (All Star Smash Mouth Spoof)
The Stupid Mario Brothers made another music video.
The Day the YouTube's Died
Hank may not have won Song Fu 3, but he's still making good music.
FAROFF Mashup
This guy makes great mashup videos. This one features...Justin Timberlake vs Ray Parker Jr. vs Laid Back vs MSTRKRFT vs Justice.
Internet Band
YouTuber 'jun626' rocks old school Jap style.
Fred Diss
Besides the "Super Bowl Is Gay" video, this might be the only other thing Andy Milonakis has ever done in his life that I consider to be slightly funny.
Beautiful
Derek Cate does a great job covering this Akon song.

More Kollaboration 9
Spintown News:
Found a lot of videos to post today, so I decided to give you a few extra features. I also ranked my overall top 5 contestants from Song Fu 3, and posted links to my 10 favorite songs from the tournament in the BOTR section.
The YouTube Symphony Orchestra had it's first performance yesterday. Did anyone go?
Kollaboration 9 - Freestyle Dance
I've got a couple more videos from Kollaboration today. This first one features a really funny dancer, but he's no David Elsewhere. You'll have to watch a few who aren't very good, until a taller awkward looking guy steps up.
Kollaboration 9 - Kaba Modern
This is a pretty cool group dance routine.
Movin' On Up (with Leaf Trombone)
Rhett & Link cover one of the greatest television theme songs in history. It was a no brainer to feature this.
Men In White Coats
Joel Cathey is really good at what he does, and he proves it yet again with this video.
The Longest Way 1.0
I've seen plenty of the one year, picture a day, time lapse videos. However I don't think I've seen one in which the guy walks 4600+km.
Alloway Grove
Wade Johnston does a cool ukulele cover of this Paolo Nutini song.
The Internet Symphony "Global Mash Up"
We should be getting some videos from yesterdays performance soon.
Best Of The Rest:

Kollaboration 9
Spintown News:
Got a message on my YouTube page from Frank Bell.
"thanks for the blog love, and help spreading the word about my music :) you rock!"
No problem Frank, here at Spintown we love your music. If however you feel a strong urge to do something nice, I would love to collaborate on a video with you. :D
The view count for 'Pain For Laughs 21' seems to finally be slowing down. In all it had about 5 thousand views yesterday. Between YouTube & Metacafe it has been viewed 191,000 times during the past 16 days. So if you're interested in writing a song for me to use in my next video, there's a good chance it'll be heard by a lot of people. Rehdogg is already planning on writing another, but you can be a part of the next video as well.
kyaaakya Group Dance
I've mentioned that I love this YouTube channel, but her videos keep getting better. I love the community participation in making this video. She credits all the YouTubers in the video if you go to the direct link.
Kollaboration 9 - David Choi
The Kollaboration YouTube page is a little late in posting these videos, but I'm glad they finally got around to it. Kollaboration is basically a big talent show for Asians, and you might remember hearing about David Elsewhere because of this annual show.
Kollaboration 9 - Kina Grannis
Here's another big name on YouTube performing at the show.

Susan Boyle
Spintown News:
Well the final round of Song Fu 3 has officially started. The following was posted over at QuickStopEntertainment:
"All the votes have been tallied, and the Challenger with the most cumulative votes over the course of the last 3 Challenges is MOLLY LEWIS! She’ll be going head-to-head against Masters PAUL & STORM… So what exactly is the Final Challenge?
I call this one FRANKENSONG. For this fourth and final challenge, you must craft a composition that contains AT LEAST THREE (3) distinctly different songs within your final song, but which fit together into a cohesive whole. By distinct, I mean both tempo and style. Your song must run no shorter than 1 minute 45 seconds. For examples of Frankensong, think of tunes like The Beatles’ “A Day In The Life” and Paul McCartney’s “Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey”, or have a listen to the track below:
Harry Chapin - “There Only Was One Choice""
Molly did a pretty good job, despite the terrible Round 2 song. Not my top pick, but definately in my top 5. They didn't show what the overall totals were for the competition, so I went ahead & added up the votes from each round. Here are the final results:
Song Fu Masters
1. Paul & Storm (588 Votes)
2. Neil Innes (343 Votes)
3. Garfunkel & Oates (186 Votes)
Song Fu Challengers
Molly Lewis (1793 Votes)
Hank Green (1530 Votes)
Crabbydad (858 Votes)
Mike Lombardo (689 Votes)
Joe "Covenant" Lamb (623 Votes)
Edric Haleen (535 Votes)
Jeff MacDougall (461 Votes)
Jutze Schult (453 Votes)
Insane Ian (354 Votes)
Hazen Nester (262 Votes)
"BucketHat" Bobby Matheson (234 Votes)
Mick Bordet (231 Votes)
Audiomohel (205 Votes)
Timonth Rush (170 Votes)
Jalapeno Habaneros (161 Votes)
Jarrett Heather (152 Votes)
The Masked Stranger (132 Votes)
Hallelujah Ape (129 Votes)
Jeff Fardink (114 Votes)
Bryce Jensen (86 Votes)
Heather Henderson (43 Votes)
Rusty's Rocking Jamboree (40 Votes)
I didn't do all that great in my picks for round 3. I did get 3 out of the top 5 right, but I think Jeff & Mike got screwed. There were a lot of good songs, so I'm not trying to say anything bad about the rest of the challengers. I'll probably pick my top 5 overall competitors for Song Fu 3 in the next couple days, and make a top 10 list of my favorite songs.

Susan Boyle
Susan Boyle became a web phenomenon after singing "I Dreamed A Dream" from Les Miserables. Simon even gives some props in this recent episode of Britains Got Talent.

Jonathan Mann may be on vacation, but he's still posting good music.
Drafi Deutcher Buffalaxed!
This time it's the song, 'Marmor Stein und Eisen'.

It doesn't shock me that Michael Buckley decided to dance to this RuPaul song.

Street Fighter Love Song
Spintown News:
Nothing much to talk about today. I did put up another project on IFreelance. This time to get some new graphics for the site.
Street Fighter Love Song
So many fans had to wait a really long time to get a true Street Fighter sequel, so someone was bound to write a love song about this game.
Should've Said No
This chick could become a regular here at Spintown. Probably not for the reasons she would like however. For now, lets laugh at this horrible Taylor Swift cover.
Hadschi Halef Omar Buffalaxed
It's amazing how bad music can become entertaining by adding jacked up subtitles.
Lil' Breakdancer
I posted a video of this kid just a few days ago, and he's already got another video going around.
Dead & Gone Light On
Looks like Tommy Knox got a better camera. Here's an acoustic version of a David Cook & TI song.
DaveyDanceBlog -58- Wiesbaden
Here's another guy I need to get in my next dance video. This is a project he started while traveling Europe during Spring 2007. Normally, he's armed only with an ipod and a Canon PowerShot. Davey picks a location and a pop song. Then Davey records an improvised dance.
Pop Waffle Vol. 26
The music in this episode of Pop Waffle is Lisztomania by Phoenix.
