A number of people really hurt themselves in the overall standings by not completing a song for both rounds thus far. I was probably most disappointed with Ian "2 Shades" Johnson (who fell 11 places in the standings) & Steve Chatterton (who fell 10 places in the standings) this time around. Ian is new to the competition, but I enjoyed his first song. I've enjoyed a number of Steve's songs in the past, so I was disappointed he didn't finish a tune. The people who have finished both rounds really helped themselves, but some more so then others. Edric Haleen probably helped himself more then anyone by moving from 15th to 6th. Denise Hudson didn't even compete in the first round, but she jumped ahead of 16 people with her round 2 song. Peter Benedict also had a big jump in the standings moving from 30th to 22nd. Below is a list of the overall standings through round 2. At this point, if Joe doesn't skip a round, it looks like there's only a couple people within striking distance. If they plan to catch him they'll have to bring some major Fu, because I've heard a draft of Joe's round 3 song...and he's bringing plenty of Fu.
